…i still believe in love- in romantic embraces underneath the falling rain-

in the give and receive of the “just because” gift exchanges that make both smile-

i still believe in calm disagreements- the ones that never escalate to rage, but suffices to the warmth of love- and the ones that teach listening souls to do the same-

i still believe that lust is secondary to love and always shall be- and in finding the soul who believes that also-

and i still believe in God, even when my heartache says not to- even when my pain disagrees-

because i still believe in faith- even the smallest of mustard seed- and that the aforementioned shall find me,
